Time works a little differently in Montauk, with their 6-day weeks and such...

Montauk? Is that the same Montauk where all the ‘Making a Murderer’ stuff happened...?

Not familiar with that show. This is from Montauk NY, at the eastern tip of Long Island.

Aaah, the one I’m referring to is in Wisconsin.

I did a little research on that show and there seemed to be some incident in Manitowoc WI. It does sound very similar, so much so that Google kept giving me results for Manitowoc instead of Montauk when I put in the name of the show.

You are completely correct and I’m being the ignorant European here, my apologies. It indeed was Manitowoc county.
It’s a good show. I found season 1 very suspenseful and thriller-like, but that was mostly because I had no idea what it was about (I watched long after the wholy hype died down). Season 2 didn’t keep me focused as much as 1, but that might’ve been because I kinda knew already what happened with the two persons of interest.

No need to apologize. Whilst t hey’re both native American in origin (but from different tribes) and sound quite similar it’s an easy mistake to make, and I’m sure many an American has made the same minor error.
Interesting note: it was one of your countryman, Adriaen Block, who was one of the first Europeans to explore Montauk and the surrounding area.
